Join Design Museum Director, Deyan Sudjic CBE, on an exclusive curator-led tour of the newly-opened museum in Kensington's former Commonwealth Institute.

The world’s leading museum devoted to architecture and design,  it encompasses all elements of design - from fashion, to product, to graphic design.  In it’s 28 year history, the museum has exhibited everything from an AK-47 to a pair of Christian Louboutin high heels!

The Grade ii* listed building and its distinctive copper-covered hyperbolic paraboloid roof was designed in 1962 by architects Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall and Partners and has been given a new lease of life by Rem Koolhaas's OMAAllies and Morrison, and Arup engineers who restored the shell while John Pawson was responsible for the building's newly reconfigured interiors, where the galleries are arranged around a minimal oak- and marble-lined atrium.
