How might the future of London’s transport evolve, and what will be the impact on the capital? The second of our three talks looks at possible scenarios for London’s transport future.

It’s not just the pandemic that will affect us. From changes in how we live and work, and they will affect travel patterns, to potential funding implications, London needs to be to be resilient to a wide range of scenarios, all of which will have a wider impact on the capital.

Led by Gavin Miller, Director of MICA, with contributors including Haziq Arrifin also from MICA; Adrian ColePhil Berczuk and Oliver Russell from Steer; Amanda Robinson and Martin Woodhouse from PRD, the panel will consider the readiness of a range of different urban conditions across London to adapt to the potentially changing demands, while also taking into account TfL's own projected scenarios.

The team will look for key emerging constants and threads to which London will need to respond, and these will inform the themes for the final session which will seek to conclude and provide recommendations.
