Join us for the launch of an exciting new competition from The London Society AND a chance to see the views from Centre Point - the iconic skyscraper which sits in St Giles Circus, WC1, at the meeting point of Covent Garden, Bloomsbury, Soho and Fitzrovia.
A true landmark building in central London, Centre Point was conceived in the 1960s by Richard Seifert as a prestigious office block, and was later awarded listed status in 1995 thanks to the building’s exceptional and pioneering design.
Acquired in 2011, Almacantar appointed Conran and Partners and Rick Mather Architects (now MICA) to restore the building – taking into consideration the spirit and character of the original design, whilst reinventing it for the twenty first century.
On Thursday 30th September, we will be launching The London Society's new 'Love Letters to London' competition at Centre Point with Almacantar, main sponsors of the competition, and there will be a tour of the building afterwards and a chance to see the view from the penthouse. Places are strictly limited, so register now.
