EXCLUSIVE - The London Society’s tour of 100 Liverpool Street with Charles Horne, Senior Project Director, British Land and Mike Taylor, Principal, Hopkins Architects.

Join us as we revisit 100 Liverpool Street to discover how Broadgate has been radically redeveloped: from 1980s financial fortress into a world class seven day mixed-use destination that meets the expectations and aspirations of today’s market. 

In 2019 Charles and Mike led the Society on a ‘hard hat’ tour around the project. This new tour will show how over 520,000 sq ft of contemporary office space, with retail and public realm, has been created right in the heart of the City. We’ll see how a refreshed and contemporary aesthetic has been achieved, with a curved glazed facade, landscaped external terraces, and elegant, flexible lobby spaces.

100 Liverpool Street also raises the bar for sustainability. It is British Land’s first net zero carbon development, providing a benchmark to which future commercial developments in the city and elsewhere will need to aspire.
